My recent visit to Assam to see my dad was amazingly worthwhile! This was my second time visiting there, but the refreshing feeling was still the new. It is amazing how the pleasant weather, light cold breezes suddenly lifts up your mood. The centre city of Assam, Ghuwati was really a vibrant and vivid place to see again. During my stay there, I travelled ahead of Ghuwati towards Anurachal side.
The place we stopped was Ledo, Assam, it is ahead of Margherita and near the boder of Assam. We stayed there in an Infantry Battilion Mess called the Chindits (A part of the Indian Armed Force). They are more like the protector of the North-eastern Hills. I made some video for you all to see and experience what I saw!
I was really took aback, how can a place be this beautiful, and the benefit was that I was staying there. So basically, from day to night, the sky used to entertain me throughout. The early morning runs around 4:30 am, when you feel the cold but still enjoy it, the chriping of the birds in the morning serves as the greatest music to the ears. Evening horse riding sessions, with ustaad! were really dilightful for me.
We used to go to places from there, as they all were an hour ride away. So it was comfortable, as they were not too long and we could definately not get bored in the way becuase of the sunroof rides and sunsets and the view above all! It was absolutly heveanely to be there. The long car drives, you can imagine from the elaborate description , how gorgegous the place was. Next attraction that I visited was Pangsu Pass, which is a pass on the boder of Assam and Myanmar. It is gaurded with a proper amry post , and only people from defence personnel are allowed. There is an yearly market set up which help to showcase the good relations of India with Myanmar, but since the heavy shooting from around 2017, this ritual has been stopped for the safety of the common man. There are proofs of shooting rounds in the walls too!
MAYANMAR STARTING POINT
Futher moving on, we also visited Tezu, which is a small town in Anurachal Pradesh. With the drizzling during the way, it really enhanced the beauty of the place. A river goes through it named Lohit river where the famous Parshuram Kund have been formed.
There were many more small places that I went too but these were the most memorable..!!
All these videos were videographed by me, to give you all the enriching experince of the place that I have been to. I am sure that you will absolutely love it too!!
